Former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest teased forming a tag team with The Bloodline’s member Jimmy Uso. Both Priest and Jimmy are currently part of the WWE SmackDown brand.
Currently, Priest is feuding with Drew McIntyre, and their rivalry is expected to culminate in a match at WrestleMania 41. On SmackDown, McIntyre viciously attacked Priest during his match against Shinsuke Nakamura.
Meanwhile, Jimmy Uso, who is part of The Bloodline on WWE SmackDown, had a confrontation with the new United States Champion, LA Knight, and the new Bloodline members. This led to a six-man tag team match, where Jimmy Uso, LA Knight, and Braun Strowman faced The New Bloodline.
Although Jimmy Uso and Damian Priest have yet to cross paths, as they are focused on their respective feuds, Jimmy also hinted at pursuing a singles title when he confronted LA Knight. Amid these developments, as WrestleMania 41 approaches, Priest recently teased forming a tag team with Jimmy Uso following WWE SmackDown.
Jimmy Uso breaks silence after Damian Priest’s tag team tease
Jimmy Uso, best known for his long-time tag team partnership with his brother Jey Uso, has spent most of his WWE career in the tag team division. Together, The Usos became eight-time Tag Team Champions, holding the titles for a record-breaking 622 days in their longest reign.
However, in recent years, both brothers have pursued singles careers. Jey Uso cemented his rise by winning the Men’s Royal Rumble Match, earning a World Heavyweight Championship match against Gunther at WrestleMania 41. Meanwhile, Jimmy has also been making strides in his solo run, even teasing a pursuit of singles gold.
Damian Priest recently hinted at forming a tag team with Jimmy. Priest took to Instagram, sharing a photo with him and captioning it “Future ????”. Jimmy responded with his signature phrase, “No Yeet,” to which Priest replied, “Don’t fight it.” It seems Jimmy Uso isn’t seriously considering forming a new tag team, given his lighthearted response to Damian Priest.
