Comedian and actor Andrew Schulz, who recently released his Netflix special Andrew Schulz: Life, appeared on WWE RAW at Madison Square Garden. During the show, former United States Champion Logan Paul ambushed Schulz in a heated moment. The show featured a scheduled segment between Logan Paul and AJ Styles.
AJ Styles was set to call out Logan Paul on WWE RAW following their exchange a few weeks ago. Paul entered the ring to loud boos, mocking Styles and boasting about being on another level. He also took jabs at Cody Rhodes and John Cena before boldly declaring that his soul was for sale to The Rock.
Logan Paul then called out Andrew Schulz, who was sitting ringside. However, Schulz fired back, insisting that no one came to see Paul and that fans wanted real wrestlers. Enraged, Paul yanked Schulz over the barricade and into the ring, setting up for a suplex.
Before he could execute the move, AJ Styles stormed in and leveled Paul with a Phenomenal Forearm. After the attack from the former WWE United States Champion, Andrew Schulz had some words for Logan Paul.
Andrew Schulz fires back after Logan Paul’s attack on WWE RAW
Speaking in a WWE RAW exclusive interview with Cathy Kelley, Andrew Schulz reacted to Logan Paul’s actions. He expressed disappointment, stating that he had always considered Paul a friend.
Schulz said,
“I gotta say, I disagree with you. I don’t think I told him off. I think I was being honest with somebody that I used to consider a friend. We’ve done each other’s podcasts, we’ve known each other for years. I congratulated him on being a father, and then he asks me a question, and he wants me to lie in front of my people in New York City. What kind of douchebag makes you lie in front of your people?”
“So I needed to tell them the truth. We’re not here to see Logan parade around as this part-time wrestler-slash-Pokémon card collector, whatever the hell he does. There are people who have dedicated their lives to this shit, and I want to see them. That’s why I showed up. It took me my entire life to perform at the Garden. This guy buys a Pokémon card for $4 million, and he gets to show up? To me, that seems incredibly unfair. So I can’t believe he did that to me, to be honest with you. At least tell me, and we’ll have a fair fight man to man. I had my wife right there.” [H/T: Fightful]
Furthermore, Schulz also stated that if they cross paths again, things will be far less cordial. Meanwhile, Paul has yet to comment on the situation.
