The actress plays the titular protagonist in the Netflix movie franchise, two parts of which have already won over fans and critics. In November 2023, Netflix announced that they were working on the script of Enola Holmes 3.

The Stranger Things actress is currently busy promoting her upcoming sci-fi thriller, The Electric State.
While speaking to Collider recently, Millie Bobby Brown disclosed, “I’m going to be doing an Enola Holmes 3 this year. We start filming in the coming weeks. I’m very excited.” Thus, Enola Holmes 3 might have a 2026 release date.
In 2023, Netflix head Scott Stuber described Brown as “a great homegrown star” and revealed that the script was already being written. He told Collider in another interview, “The Holmes IP is weirdly elastic. We’re working once again on a screenplay to try to get that.”

In the aforementioned interview, the outlet also asked Millie Bobby Brown about Henry Cavill’s return in Enola Holmes 3. While the actress avoided answering the question, she said, “You’ll have to wait and see.”
Following the release of Enola Holmes 2, Cavill sat down with The Wrap and talked about how he embraced the character of Sherlock. The actor told the outlet, “I enjoyed enormously being in Baker Street. The work the production team did there was extraordinary. It was such a beautifully crafted set, magnificent. I didn’t like to leave that set. I just like to sit in it and enjoy it and feel as much as Sherlock as I possibly could.”
