With Thunderbolts* fast approaching its theatrical release date, fans have finally received their first look at The Sentry and his suit. While Marvel Studios has mostly chosen to keep details regarding Lewis Pullman’s character under wraps, aside from a brief reference to the super-powered being in their latest Thunderbolts* trailer, they seemed to have spilled the beans via a set of Funko Pops. A recently released glimpse at the film’s official figurines has almost but confirmed the appearance of Sentry in the MCU’s forthcoming project.
First look at Lewis Pullman’s Sentry revealed with Thunderbolts*’ Funko Pops
An image of Thunderbolts*’ Funko Pops recently shared on X(formerly Twitter) effectively divulged the first looks of five characters from the film, including that of Lewis Pullman’s Sentry.
The said photo shared by @FunkoPopsNews showcases Pullman’s character post his transformation into Sentry, highlighting his suit for the very first time in front of the world. The Funko Pop puts Robert “Bob” Reynolds’ alter-ego in a golden bodysuit with blue accents. He also dons blue boots and a cape alongside a belt of matching color that boasts an ‘S’ emblem at its center. However, Sentry’s shoulder-length golden locks arguably serve as the standout feature of the character’s collectible.

In addition to Sentry’s appearance, another Thunderbolts* Funko Pops photo also provides a detailed look at Florence Pugh’s Yelena Belova, David Harbour’s Red Guardian, Sebastian Stan’s Bucky Barnes, and Wyatt Russell’s John Walker.
Thunderbolts* revolves around the misadventures of a select team of supervillains, who are recruited by the government to partake in perilous missions. While Marvel Studios have yet to openly affirm Lewis Pullman’s role as Sentry, all things point towards the proposition being true in the film. The actor embodies Bob, which serves as the byname of Rob Reynolds, the real name of Sentry’s human form.
Helmed by Jake Schreier, Thunderbolts*marches into the theatres on May 2, 2025.
