Fashion designer Georgina Chapman talked to Extra TV recently and shared her thoughts regarding the kiss between Halle Berry and her boyfriend Adrien Brody.
Berry approached Brody and Chapman on the red carpet at the 2025 Oscars and locked lips with the actor, recreating their famous kiss from the 2003 Oscars when Brody won Best Actor for the first time.
Approaching Chapman, the outlet referred to the recent kiss between Berry and Brody as “quite the moment.” Chapman agreed and stated, “It was, wasn’t it? I mean, how can you deny a man a kiss with Halle Berry?” The outlet stated that Berry revealed that Chapman was comfortable with the kiss between her and Brody. To this, the fashion designer added, “He was more than fine,” and chuckled.
Furthermore, Berry told Variety that she “had to pay him back.” She asserted, “I’ve seen him out at parties, but this is the first time since that night that I’ve seen him on the red carpet somewhere. He’s nominated this year. He deserved that.”

Brody also commented on the moment in an interview with Variety and said, “We live in a very conscious time, which is a wonderful thing. Nothing that I ever do or have done or would’ve done is ever done with the intention of making anyone feel bad.”
