Season 3 features Tanya’s husband, Greg, who has a new girlfriend, Chloe. He brings her to the White Lotus hotel in Thailand. Belinda Lindsey, who was introduced in Season 1 as the resort manager, joins the current season and visits Thailand to learn spa techniques from the staff. Although she had spotted Greg in an earlier episode, she didn’t discover it was Tanya’s husband until Episode 3.
While having dinner with her wellness companion, Pornchai, she recalls who Greg is and how she knows him. Greg was having dinner with his girlfriend and others in the common area. Immediately, she approaches his table and greets him. She says, “Greg, isn’t it?” However, Greg refuses to disclose his real identity and introduces himself as Gary.
Later, she asks him whether he dated a woman named Tanya. He refuses and says he has no idea what she is talking about. “You must have a doppelganger then because I swear you look just like this man I met in Maui,” Belinda then adds. The episode concludes with the duo intensely staring at one another, subtly hinting that Greg’s real identity won’t remain a mystery for long.
For the unversed, Tanya died in The White Lotus Season 2. As she tried to escape her husband’s murder plot, she slipped, hit her head, and drowned, which led to her death. Given that Belinda has now recognized Greg, it would be interesting to see whether the latter gets punished for his actions or gets away yet again.
