Singer Rosalía recently spoke about how she bagged a role in Euphoria Season 3 and provided an update regarding the filming.
The hit series was renewed for Season 3 by HBO in February 2022, soon after the premiere of Season 2 on January 9, 2022. Directed by Sam Levinson, Euphoria features a talented cast of stars including Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi, Sydney Sweeney, Colman Domingo, and many more.
Rosalía on how she joined Euphoria Season 3’s cast
The “Con Altura” hitmaker recently attended Vanity Fair’s Oscars party when she stopped for a chat with Variety. As Rosalía engaged in a conversation, she was asked whether Euphoria Season 3 had started filming. She said, “We started, ya!”
The singer also shared her excitement for the upcoming show and told the outlet, “Well, you know, it’s happening. It’s the first time that I do something like that. And, I’m really excited. ” She further expressed that she was extremely grateful to be part of the HBO show and the cast.
Additionally, Variety enquired about how the singer ended up joining the cast. Rosalía elaborated, “I’ve always been a huge fan. So, it end up happening. I always put it in the air, and it end up happening.”
The announcement that Rosalía would be joining the cast of Euphoria Season 3 was made by HBO on February 14, 2025. In a post made on Euphoria’s official Instagram account, the singer’s message to her fans was also shared. In the message, she disclosed that Euphoria was her “favorite series over the last few years.” She added, “I couldn’t be happier and more grateful to be acting alongside all of these incredibly talented people that I admire so much.”
Season 3 of Euphoria will have a total of eight episodes and is likely to arrive in 2026.
