Stranger Things’ David Harbour Is a Mountain Lion in Exclusive Night of the Zoopocalypse Clip

ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Night of the Zoopocalypse clip from the upcoming animated horror comedy, which hails from Viva Pictures. The film will be arriving in theaters on Friday, March 7.

“After a meteor unleashes a virus that turns zoo animals into mutants, a mountain lion and wolf lead a team of surviving animals to stop the virus and rescue their zoo,” reads the synopsis.

What happens in the Night of the Zoopocalypse clip?

The video features Stranger Things star David Harbour as he lends his voice to the role of Dan the mountain lion. It shows Dan locked inside a cage, as he tries to convince the other zoo animals that he won’t hurt them if they help him get out. The voice cast also includes Emmy nominee Scott Thompson (The Kids In The Hall, The Pacifier), Paul Sun-Hyung Lee (Avatar: The Last Airbender) and Gabbi Kosmidis (Unicorn Academy, Fellow Travellers).

Night of the Zoopocalypse is inspired by a concept from best-selling author Clive Barker, who is serving as an executive producer. The film is directed by veteran animators Ricardo Curtis (The Incredibles, The Angry Birds Movie, The Iron Giant) and Rodrigo Perez-Castro (The Book of Life, Ice Age: Collision Course) from a screenplay written by Steve Hoban and James Kee. Executive producers are Jonathan Benhaiem, Kate Parkes, Baptiste Salvan, and Noah Segel, with Yohann Comte, Steven Hoban, Joe Iacono, Wes Lui, and Mark Smith producing.
