Morgan lost the women’s world championship to Rhea Ripley earlier this year during the WWE RAW Netflix premiere. Reports later revealed that WWE had planned a major push for Morgan and Rodriguez as a tag team long before Morgan’s title loss.
In 2023, Morgan and Rodriguez held the WWE women’s tag team titles twice. However, both reigns were short-lived. Their first reign lasted 39 days before Morgan suffered a shoulder injury.
The second reign ended after only 16 days when Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green defeated them. Reports mentioned that WWE has huge plans for Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez following Morgan’s world title loss.
The two were quickly inserted into a feud with the former women’s tag team champions, Bianca Belair and Naomi. On the latest edition of RAW, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez defeated Belair and Naomi to capture the women’s tag team titles for the third time.
The promotion already has major plans for Morgan and Rodriguez as a team. Reports have mentioned that their recent victory has pleased backstage officials.

With WrestleMania 41 approaching, it looks like Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez will compete in a tag team match at the show. Whether it will be a multi-women’s tag team match or a traditional two-on-two showdown remains to be seen.
