ESX Films has shared the official Day of Reckoning trailer for its upcoming Western crime drama, starring Billy Zane (Titanic) and Scott Adkins (John Wick: Chapter 4). The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on March 28, 2025.

What happens in the Day of Reckoning trailer?
The video features Zane as a U.S. marshall, who gets a chance to finally capture a dangerous outlaw that he has been hunting down for a long time. The trailer also highlights the action-packed sequences featured in the upcoming movie, as Adkins’ character will do everything he can to save his wife.
“On the verge of losing his wife and his job as sheriff, put-upon lawman John Dorsey reluctantly teams up with bullish U.S. Marshall Butch Hayden to hold outlaw Emily Rusk hostage,” reads the official synopsis. “A battle of wills ensues as Emily turns the posse on themselves, but as her marauding husband and his gang approach, Emily and John realize they will need each other to survive.”
Day of Reckoning is directed by Shaun Silva from a screenplay written by Travis J. Opgenorth. The cast also includes Zach Roerig, Cara Jade Myers, Trace Adkins, Travis Hammer, Gus Langley, Yelawolf, Brad Carter, Josh Plasse, Mike Wolfe, Britton Webb, Bones Owens, Struggle Jennings, and more. The film is produced by Ali Afshar, Christina Moore, Daniel Aspromonte, and Don Lepore. The creative team also includes cinematographer Keith J. Leman, editor Brett Hedlund, and composer Jamie Christopherson.
