Alec Baldwin Threatens Trump Impersonator: ‘I’d Snap Your F***ing Neck’

Beetlejuice star Alec Baldwin has supplied some scathing comments to a Donald Trump impersonator after the latter heckled the actor about the Rust movie controversy. In a video that has since gone viral, Jason Scoop can be seen questioning him about the time he accidentally fired a loaded gun at a crew member on the sets of the film, resulting in their demise. While Baldwin attempted to keep his calm during the initial moments of the snippet, he finally snapped back at the comedian before threatening him with a series of ferocious statements.

What happened to Alec Baldwin and Jason Scoop?

On Monday, Jason Scoop took to social media to share his interaction with the Oscar-nominated thespian. Positioning himself as a Donald Trump impersonator, he approached Alec Baldwin near his New York City home while the actor was unloading luggage from his car.

Taking a dig at Baldwin’s famous portrayal of the 47th US President on Saturday Night Live, Scoop donned a blue suit and a blonde wig in the video he posted on Instagram. He then jokingly offered the veteran artist a pardon for his role in the now-infamous Rust shooting. “Look, Alec, I will offer you a total pardon ’cause I wanna be friends, right? I wanna be friends. I will give you a total pardon for murdering that woman if you kiss the ring,” Scoop stated.

Maintaining his Trump impersonator act, the comedian continued, “Look at Alec Baldwin, right? He did that impersonation of me. It was not too hot, not too good. But look, we’re back in office. You [the Democrats] lost. Kamala [Harris] lost. She’s somewhere getting intoxicated.”

Here’s the video shared by Scoop:

When Scoop failed to get a reaction out of Baldwin, he once again threw the Rust incident in the actor’s face, noting, “Well, Alec, if you don’t want that pardon for murdering that woman in cold blood — you can call it first-degree, you can call it whatever you want, but it was not good. She’s looking down on me right now, smiling, happy. ‘Thank you for confronting the man who took me out, who killed me.'”

This seemed to have struck a nerve with Alec Baldwin, as he finally confronted the Trump impersonator for his skit. “Look at me. I want you to look at me,” he said while addressing Scoop. Baldwin then made his anger known to the invading comedian, stating, “You got a camera on me here? You realize my kids live in this building? But I want you to know something. I want you to be real careful. If this camera wasn’t here, I’d snap your f–king neck in half and break your f–king neck right here. You know that, don’t you?”

After asking Jason Scoop to remove himself, the 66-year-old actor ultimately decided to walk away from the internet personality. Baldwin accidentally claimed the life of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021 while filming Rust after he fired a loaded gun, assuming it to be a prop. Charged with involuntary manslaughter, the Hollywood mainstay saw his case dismissed in July 2024.
