Critics call Reacher Season 3 a great build up to Seasons 1 and 2
Reacher has impressed critics with its Season 3, following in the footsteps of its predecessors. Developed by Nick Santora, the show is based on the Jack Reacher novels authored by Lee Child. The story revolves around the titular character, a retired military officer who embarks on a mission to solve crimes across the United States.
Since its release, critics have been praising the third installment in their reviews. Johnny Loftus of Decider lauded Reacher for the progress it is making season after season and stated that the show “adds enough pieces around Ritchson to make things interesting.”
Meanwhile, Justin Burke of Flick Fan Nation asserted that the “series just keeps getting better, and there is no stopping Alan Ritchson at this point.” He further added, “Season three raises the stakes, features a more complex storyline, and allows us to see a different side of Reacher this time around.”
Greg McArthur of Screen Rant also conveyed that the show has managed to enhance its “sharp twists, witty humor, palpable suspense & thrilling action with bigger threats & darker tones.”
Furthermore, Alex Maidy of JoBlo’s Movie Network labeled Season 3 as a “great season” and added that he is “curious to see if Reacher can find a way to keep topping itself as seasons two and three each built on what came before them.”
