ComingSoon is debuting an exclusive Warden trailer, previewing the upcoming docu-style sci-fi superhero feature set to release next month.
What happens in the Warden trailer?
The Warden trailer details the story of a kid who discovers he has superpowers and the varied reactions of him existing in a city amongst the city’s population. The film is directed by Marcus Alqueres, who gained viral success a decade ago with his short film The Flying Man, which went viral over the internet in 2013.
Warden is set to release on North American video-on-demand platforms and DVD on March 14, 2025, with Freestyle Digital Media acquiring the rights to the project.

Warden was developed by Lucasfilm veteran Steve Tzirlin and Jeff Juhasz, who worked as executive producer and writer, respectively, on Amazon’s Secret Level. The film stars Giovanni de Lorenzi, Alli Willow, Brian Townes, Antonio Saboia, James Turpin, Bukassa Kabengele, Nathalia Florentino, and Plínio Soares.
“What drew me to Warden was its reflection of society’s deep fascination with heroes—how we elevate them, place our faith in their power to save us, and the hidden dangers that come with it,” said filmmaker Marcus Alqueres. “I love exploring ‘what if’ scenarios and reimagining familiar genres in unexpected ways, and Warden gave me the opportunity to do both.”
