Mickey 17 star Robert Pattinson recently shared his thoughts on having a male fanbase. Accordingly, fans of the 38-year-old actor are curious about what he had said. He first gained attention with the Twilight franchise, which garnered him a lot of female fans. However, over the years, Pattinson has acted in multiple other films like Good Time and High Life that slowly boosted his popularity and steadily invited men to his fanbase. The popularity only grew further, once he began playing Batman in Matt Reeves’ The Batman franchise.

The Tenet star recently attended a premiere event in London for his upcoming film, Mickey 17. Here, he spoke to Associated Press journalist, Sian Watson.

During the interview, Watson asked Robert Pattinson what it was like having a male fanbase and having a lot of men show up for the premiere of his upcoming film. “It’s quite strange,” he replied. “There’s like a bunch of guys, which is a new one for me.”

Additionally, Pattinson was asked about whether in the future, he would do the kinds of films his daughter, whom he shares with actress Suki Waterhouse, could see. “I’d love to yeah,” he replied. The actor then joked that his child was only interested in looking at the wall. Watson then suggested that he had a “good cartoon voice,” to which Pattinson replied that he would love to work on cartoons.

Robert Pattinson’s upcoming projects include The Drama, The Odyssey, and Die My Love. The Drama will see him co-star with Zendaya. Meanwhile, The Odyssey will reunite Pattinson with Christopher Nolan, whom he worked with on Tenet.

The actor will also reprise his role as Batman in The Batman Part II. This film has faced multiple delays and is now scheduled for an October 1, 2027 release. In a recent interview with ExtraTV, Pattinson confirmed that he knew what the film was about now. “It’s very cool,” he added.
