Tom Holland Denied at Target While Buying Non-Alcoholic Bero, His Own Brand

Spider-Man star Tom Holland had an unexpected experience during his recent attempt to purchase his premium non-alcoholic beer, Bero. The Hollywood A-lister took to Instagram stories to share his journey that covered three Target stores, revealing that he was almost unable to buy the product.

Here’s everything you need to know about Holland’s recent trip to buy a pack of non-alcoholic beer of his own brand.

Why was Tom Holland denied to buy his own brand at Target?

In what seemed to be a fun expedition, Tom Holland declared on his Instagram account that he was going to purchase Bero. “So I haven’t been in the [United] States for a while, and I’m gonna go visit some Bero on the shelves, out in the wild,” the 28-year-old said in the first video he uploaded.

While his initial voyage ended in disappointment, Holland then ventured to another Target store to find Bero. In the second snippet, he stated, “This is the second Target I’ve been to because the last one I went to actually didn’t have it,” before jokingly adding, “Not the best marketing.” (via People)

Holland’s second attempt also ended in failure, who decided to continue his journey by making a stop at a third Target establishment. “This is a bigger Target, so I feel more hopeful,” the actor remarked in another one of his videos posted on Instagram stories. Tom Holland finally managed to get his hands on some Bero bottles, his own non-alcoholic beer brand, as revealed by the last clip he posted on February 18. “Okay, so success, I found some. I bought it,” the Uncharted star noted.

Despite successfully locating Bero at the third store, Holland disclosed that the Target employees almost denied him service because he did not have the right kind of identification. “They wouldn’t accept my ID because it’s English and I couldn’t prove my age, so a really lovely employee, I guess, scanned their ID. Kind of ironic that I wasn’t allowed to buy my own product,” the English actor stated before wrapping up what ended up being an “exciting” day for Holland.
