Here is what happens in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man’s ending and finale.

What happens at the end of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Episode 10?

The ending of Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man sees Norman Osborn reveal to the Oscorp interns that their work is linked to Project Monolith—a project designed to create a gateway to space for faster-than-light travel and instant relocation.

However, Osborn’s true intentions go beyond exploration. He plans to use the project to elevate humanity to a god-like status. Before he can proceed, Doctor Strange arrives, attempting to shut down the project. In response, Osborn orders his guards to activate Monolith and makes his escape.

The portal’s activation has unintended consequences. From it emerges the symbiote that Strange battled in the series premiere. Seeing the threat, Spider-Man and Strange team up to defeat the creature and force it back through the portal before shutting it down. Amidst the chaos, a test subject spider escapes—hinting at future events.

As the dust settles, Oscorp faces widespread criticism, and Peter begins questioning his partnership with Osborn. Meanwhile, Strange meets with Spider-Man, reassuring him that he is ready to embrace his role as a true hero. Uatu the Watcher from What If…? sees the whole conversation play out.

Meanwhile, Aunt May visits a prison and interacts with Peter’s father Richard, who is revealed to be alive.

Spider-Man’s origin in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man explained

In Episode 1, Peter Parker received his powers from a spider that came through a portal in the premiere episode, while Doctor Strange battled the symbiote.

However, Episode 10 revealed that the spider that bit Peter came from the future. This spider was also experimented on using Spider-Man’s blood. Thus, a time paradox was created wherein Peter gained his powers from a spider that had his altered or Spider-Man’s blood.

How is Richard Parker still alive in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man?

It is unknown how Richard Parker is alive in Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man.

It’s possible that Richard was simply caught and arrested for likely doing something dangerous and illegal, instead of dying on a dangerous mission with his wife Mary as depicted in the comics. To protect Peter, Aunt May lied to him about his father’s fate.
