The Departed held fast at No. 2, earning an additional $6.6 million to bring its total rental earnings, after three weeks, to $25 million, or nearly 20% of its $129.4 theatrical take.
New Line’s Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny bowed at No. 6 on First Alert and No. 10 on the rental chart, while 20th Century Fox’s A Good Year debuted at No. 8 on both the DVD sales and rental charts.
