Curious to know whether the reality TV series Sister Wives is officially over? The series follows the life of Kody, a married man with four wives and eighteen children. In their everyday lives, they experience several joys and challenges. However, they deal with all problems with unity and love. With Season 19 Part 1 ending recently, fans are eager to know when they will get to watch additional episodes. So, here are the details.
Is Sister Wives over or will there be new episodes soon?
Sister Wives Season 19 Part 1 is over. The series will resume in spring with Part 2.
Sister Wives Season 19 Part 1 ended with Episode 20, titled “For Everything There Is a Season,” which premiered on February 2 on TLC. The episode features Christine, Janelle, and David embarks on a road trip to North Carolina.
They are set to drop Janelle at her destination. Mid-way, they take a halt and go to the bar, where she drinks her first-ever shot. On the other hand, Meri’s B&B future is uncertain. Kody and Robyn engage in a deep conversation with Aurora.
After its mid-season finale, the series is currently on a break and will premiere additional episodes in Spring. TLC has yet to confirm the exact release date and time. Currently, Alec Baldwin’s new reality show The Baldwins has taken over the usual time slot of the series. So, there are chances that Part 2 will be released when The Baldwins officially ends, vacating the time slot for Sister Wives.
Looking at the past patterns, this is the second time the series has divided its episodes into two parts. Previously, it happened during Season 6, which originally premiered in July 2013. It went on a mid-season break in September and returned to TLC in December 2013. If the current season follows a similar pattern, the new episodes can be expected sometime in April or May 2025. TLC is yet to confirm this.
