Amazon MGM Studios has released the official Duplicity trailer for its upcoming legal thriller, which hails from filmmaker Tyler Perry. The R-rated movie will be led by The Vampire Diaries alum Kat Graham as attorney Marley.
“In the film, high-powered attorney Marley faces her most personal case yet when she is tasked with uncovering the truth behind the shooting of her best friend Fela’s husband,” reads the official synopsis. “With the help of her boyfriend – a former cop turned private investigator – Marley’s search for what really happened leads her down a treacherous maze of deception and betrayal.”

When is the Duplicity release date?
Duplicity is scheduled to make its debut on March 20, 2025, exclusively on Prime Video. The ensemble cast also includes Meagan Tandy (Batwoman) as Fela, Tyler Lepley (Harlem, The Haves and the Have Nots) as Tony, Kearia Schroeder (Dance For Me) as Jennifer, RonReaco Lee (First Wives Club), Joshua Adeyeye (The Oval) as Rodney, Nick Barrotta (Divorce Court), Jimi Stanton (Greyhound, Your Honor), and Shannon LaNier (God’s Not Dead: A Light in Darkness).
The film is written and directed by Tyler Perry (Divorce in the Black, Diary of a Mad Black Woman). Perry is also serving as a producer alongside Angi Bones (The Negotiator, Blade) and Will Areu (A Madea Family Funeral, A Fall from Grace). The creative team also includes editor Larry Sexton, production designer Sharon Busse, and more, with JimiJame$ and Wow Jones providing the music.
