Masters of the Universe Live-Action Movie Casts Ram-Man & 2 More Roles

Three more actors have been cast in the live-action Masters of the Universe movie.

Travis Knight is currently working on a live-action Masters of the Universe movie for Amazon MGM Studios. Releasing in 2026, the film will see Nicholas Galitzine play He-Man.

Per The Hollywood Reporter, the Masters of the Universe movie has now added three new cast members: Jon Xue Zhang as Ram-Man, Sasheer Zamata as Suzie, and Christian Vunipola as Hussein.

Jon Xue Zhang is known for playing Blood Boots in Netflix’s The Brothers Sun. He has done stunt work in movies such as 2016’s Doctor Strange, 2019’s Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw, 2021’s Eternals, 2024’s Kraven the Hunter, 2025’s Back in Action, and more.

Zamata recently played Jennifer Kale in Marvel Studios’ Agatha All Along. She also voiced Devilcat in Netflix’s Exploding Kittens and is a former Saturday Night Live cast member. Additionally, she had leading roles in the television shows Woke and Home Economics.

Vunipola has appeared in movies such as 2022’s Wildflower, 2023’s Miguel Wants to Fight, 2024’s Double Exposure, and 2024’s Singing in My Sleep.

Who else is starring in the live-action Masters of the Universe movie?

Along with the aforementioned actors, the cast further includes Jared Leto as Skeletor, Alison Brie as Evil-Lyn, Morena Baccarin as The Sorceress, Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man-at-Arms, James Purefoy as King Randor, Charlotte Riley as Queen Marlena, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson as Malcolm/Fisto, Sam C. Wilson as Trap Jaw, Hafthor Bjornsson as Goat Man, and Kojo Attah as Tri-Klops.

Plot details for Masters of the Universe remain under wraps at this time. The script comes from Chris Butler, while David Callaham, Aaron Nee, and Adam Nee worked on the initial draft.

Masters of the Universe will be released in United States theaters on June 5, 2026.
