Real estate mogul Mauricio Umansky has successfully finished his clavicle surgery and updated his fans on his recovery. The Buying Beverly Hills star revealed to his Instagram followers that the surgery necessitated the insertion of a metal plate and twelve screws.

Mauricio Umansky injured his clavicle on February 14 while skiing in Aspen, Colorado. The 54-year-old revealed the news to his 814k Instagram followers in an Instagram story series. Umansky also shared that he would go through surgery at Aspen Valley Hospital to ensure a smooth recovery.
On Monday, February 17, Umansky informed fans that his surgery was successful, and it required a metal plate with twelve screws to be inserted. He noted, “Thank you to everyone who has reached out. I have felt so much love and support. I had surgery on my clavicle it was a clean break but required a metal plate and 12 screws.”
However, Umansky isn’t letting the skiing accident dampen his spirits. The reality TV star shared an upbeat message from his hospital bed: “Let’s get this surgery done so I can heal. Play hard sometimes you get hurt but the care here has been incredible.”
Per reports, the accident occurred during a family getaway in Aspen. Umansky’s wife Kyle Richards and their daughters Alexia, Sophia, and Portia joined in the family vacation. After the accident, emergency responders came to his rescue, helping him safely descend the slope. His positive attitude in the face of this setback has earned praise from fans who admire his resilient outlook.
