The reigning WWE Women’s World Champion, Rhea Ripley, is gearing up for a massive showdown against her longtime rival. A few weeks ago, at WWE Royal Rumble 2025, Charlotte Flair emerged as the winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble match.
Shortly after her victory, Rhea Ripley confronted Charlotte Flair and boldly challenged her to choose her as her WrestleMania 41 opponent. Ripley confidently reminded Flair that she had defeated her the last time they faced off at WrestleMania 39.
However, Charlotte Flair quickly countered, recalling their first WrestleMania 36 encounter, where she defeated Rhea Ripley to claim the NXT Women’s Championship. Despite the heated exchange, Flair ultimately selected the current WWE Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton, as her opponent for WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
With Flair’s decision made, the Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifying matches began. Now, the winner of the Elimination Chamber match will earn a chance to face Rhea Ripley for the title at WrestleMania 41.
Ripley is looking forward to seeing who will win the Women’s Elimination Chamber match. However, before WrestleMania 41, she is set to face her longtime rival, Liv Morgan, in a highly anticipated series of four matches.
WWE confirms Rhea Ripley vs. Liv Morgan ahead of WrestleMania 41
WWE WrestleMania 41 will take place on April 19th and 20th, just two months from now. Before that, WWE will embark on its annual European tour in March. WWE Deutschland announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Rhea Ripley will face former Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan during the tour.
The duo will clash in Dortmund on March 15. The next day, they will face off again in Hannover on March 16. Their rivalry will continue in Vienna on March 29, and they will conclude their series of matches in Amsterdam on March 30.
Liv Morgan has already secured her place in the Women’s Elimination Chamber match, which takes place on March 1st in Toronto. Since WWE Deutschland announced multiple matches between Morgan and Ripley ahead of WrestleMania 41, speculation has grown that Morgan could potentially win the Elimination Chamber match. Only time will tell.
