However, before the attack, Cora Jade struck with a kendo stick and then locked eyes with Roxanne Perez. In a shocking moment, Jade swung the kendo stick at Perez, but she dodged and escaped, visibly stunned by her best friend’s actions.
Originally, Giulia was set to defend her title against Bayley and Roxanne Perez at WWE NXT Vengeance Day 2025. However, General Manager Ava has now added Cora Jade into the mix, turning it into a Fatal 4-Way match. Ahead of their showdown, Perez has finally broken her silence on the tension with her former best friend.

During her appearance on the No-Contest Wrestling Podcast, Roxanne Perez acknowledged the tension with Bayley and Giulia in the upcoming Fatal 4-Way match. However, she expressed optimism that her friendship with Cora Jade would survive despite recent conflicts.
She stated, “I mean, there’s definitely a lot of animosity in this four-way. I can see the tension between me and Cora, but I think we’re going to be fine. We’ve been best friends for years and years. I think that’ll settle itself. There’s a lot of animosity between me and Bayley, a lot of animosity between me and Giulia.”
Cora Jade is determined to win the NXT Women’s Championship, making her clash with Roxanne Perez even more intriguing. Will their friendship survive, or was this all part of a plan to help Perez reclaim the title? Only time will tell.
