WWE Hall of Famer and former Divas Champion Michelle McCool has hinted at a potential in-ring return. She has cemented her legacy as one of the greatest women’s wrestlers in WWE history.
Michelle McCool became the first Diva to win both the WWE Divas and Women’s Championships during her time in the promotion. The Hall of Famer retired in 2011 after competing in a Loser Leaves WWE match against Layla at Extreme Rules. Layla pinned McCool, marking the end of her full-time career in WWE.
After leaving WWE, McCool shifted her focus to her personal life. She married WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker, and together, they have two children, Kaia Faith and Kolt. In 2018, McCool returned to WWE for the first time in years at the RAW 25th Anniversary special.
Since then, she has competed in several matches, including the 2018 Women’s Royal Rumble matches and the 20-Woman Battle Royal at WWE Evolution. She later participated in the 2022 and 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble matches. Now, the WWE Hall of Famer has once again hinted at a possible return to the ring.

In an interview with Insights with Chris Van Vliet, Michelle McCool expressed confidence in her ability to compete again. She stated, “I feel like I could too. My mind tells me I can. Sometimes I’m like, I can’t believe it’s been 20 years, which is crazy to say. But, I am 44 now. I do feel like I could, at least for a very short amount of time, I can get in there and do it.”
Reflecting on her final match against Layla, McCool felt they delivered a strong performance and told a great story. She stated, “I was happy with my last match for sure, it’s one of my favorite matches. I think Layla and I had a great match, I think we told a great story. Then, Awesome Kong coming out for her debut, which we only knew minutes before.” [H/T: Fightful]
