The NYT Connections for today, February 14, 2025, is now available for the readers. The New York Times has been publishing the word game since June 2023, and it has become one of the most popular components of the publication. To solve the game, a player must correctly categorize a 16-word grid into four groups of four. Now, each of these groups or categories represents a theme. The categories, in turn, are represented by colors in terms of their difficulty levels, with the Purple Category being the hardest and Yellow the easiest. Here are the hints, clues, and answers for the February 14 edition of NYT Connections.

What are the Connections answers for today, February 14?
The following are the NYT Connections answers for today, February 14:
Yellow Category: Mollycoddle
BABY, HUMOR, INDULGE, and PAMPER
Green Category: Things a rattlesnake does
HISS, RATTLE, SHED, and SLITHER.
Blue Category: Words said to an unsuspecting person
BOO, GOTCHA, GUESS WHO, and SURPRISE
Purple Category: Homophones of bodies of water
BAE, CREAK, SEE, and STRAIGHT
Today’s Connections was unusual as one of the entries in the grid is a phrase (Guess WHO) rather than a word. Interestingly, we were able to solve the Blue Category first. But before that, we erroneously tried to group BAE, BOO, and BABY. When that didn’t work out, BABY fit a pattern with HUMOR, INDULGE, and PAMPER. The Green Category was relatively easy to figure out after that, and the remaining words were classed under the Purple Category by default.
