Who won the Sekai Taikai at the end of Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 3?

The ending of Cobra Kai Season 6 saw Cobra Kai emerging as the winner of the Sekai Taikai Tournament of Champions.

The tournament began with individual fights, where Tory Nichols proved her dominance by defeating Iron Fist’s Zara in a brutal match, cementing her reputation as a top fighter. Next, Cobra Kai’s Miguel faced Axel from Iron Fist. Initially struggling, Miguel found his rhythm when Axel was ordered to break his back. In response, Miguel unleashed a powerful combination of strikes, finishing Axel with a decisive kick to the head. With both dojos tied, the final match would determine the ultimate champion.

To settle the score, tournament officials decided that instead of students, the Senseis would fight. This meant Johnny Lawrence had to battle Sensei Wolf in a match.

On the day of the fight, Johnny felt immense pressure, fearing that a loss would erase everything he had built. His unease led to a rough start, and even Daniel noted it was the first time he had seen Johnny afraid. However, Daniel helped him refocus, reminding him of his strength.

As the fight intensified, Johnny blended Cobra Kai’s aggression with Miyagi-Do’s defensive strategy. Sensei Wolf rushed into Johnny’s counterattacks. In a dramatic final moment, Johnny swept Wolf’s leg, securing both the match and the Sekai Taikai championship for Cobra Kai.

What happens to Johnny, Daniel, and the students in Cobra Kai Season 6?

Following his victory, Johnny reclaimed the original Cobra Kai dojo, thanks to a deal Daniel negotiated with Zarkarian. While Daniel continued running Miyagi-Do, he and Johnny decided to form a unique partnership. Both maintained their own dojos but shared students to ensure they learned both offensive and defensive techniques.

At the end of Cobra Kai Season 6, Johnny moved his family into a new house and embraced his role as a sensei, training students with a combination of Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do methods. Devon and Anthony prepared for the next All-Valley tournament, while Stingray took on the responsibility of teaching weekend classes.
