The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 Release Date Set in Teaser Trailer

The revolution has begun in the newly released teaser trailer for the highly anticipated The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 will arrive almost three years after the fifth season premiered. Season 6 was expected to come out last year, though the series experienced delays due to Hollywood strikes at the time.

When is The Handmaid’s Tale Season 6 release date?

The sixth and final season of the dystopian drama series based on Margaret Atwood’s 1985 novel of the same name is set to premiere on Hulu on April 8. The teaser trailer begins with a narration from Elisabeth Moss‘ June Osborne tackling the distinct deep red dresses for oppressed women, saying, “They believed that these garments that they put on our bodies told the world who we are. To mark us, they put us in red — the color of blood. They forgot that it’s also the color of rage.”

The narration continues, “The dress became our uniform. And we became an army.” The video then shows the handmaids preparing for revolution, with June Osborne saying “We will fear no evil” in the end.
