Thousands Sign It Ends with Us Petition To Remove Blake Lively From Credits

The ongoing controversy between Blake Lively and her It Ends with Us co-star Justin Baldoni has taken yet another turn after a user on the internet filed a petition to completely remove the actress from the movie’s credits. The legal issues between the two started in December 2024 after Lively filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Baldoni. The actor/director responded by countersuing Lively, along with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and other involved parties. The matter continues to escalate as one Change.org user has filed a petition to scrap Lively from It Ends with Us’ credits.

Aside from leading the cast of It Ends with Us, Blake Lively also serves as a producer on the film. The new Change.org petition intends to remove Lively’s PGA credit from the film’s credits.

Filed by Jaziel Hernandez, the appeal reads, “We urge the Producers Guild of America (PGA) to remove Blake Lively’s PGA credit from the film It Ends with Us. This credit was obtained through extortion and threats, rather than merit or legitimate contribution.”

The It Ends with Us petition further criticizes Lively by stating, “Granting such recognition undermines the integrity of the industry and disrespects those who truly earn their titles. We stand for fairness and ethical standards in filmmaking. Blake Lively does not deserve this credit. Sign this petition to demand accountability and ensure that only those who contribute meaningfully to a production receive the recognition they deserve.”

The petition seeking Lively’s removal from the credits of It Ends with Us is steadily nearing its goal of 10,000 signatures. At the time of writing, more than 9,300 users have signed it. Despite the success of the petition, many on the internet have questioned whether the plea would be able to enforce the change it intends to bring.

Meanwhile, the trial between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has received an official commencement date of March 9, 2026.
