Peter Navy Tuiasosopo passes away at 61, claims report

Peter Navy Tuiasosopo passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 61.

The actor’s son, Manoah Peter Tuiasosopo, took to his Facebook to break this tragic news to his father’s fans. He wrote, ”With a heavy heart, my family and I want to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers. Our father Peter N. Tuiasosopo passed away this morning at 3:16am. My dad lived an amazing life and in no way does his impact stop here. His strength, love, compassion, and kindness will forever be felt.” Manoah further shared with TMZ that his father passed away from cardiac issues in Phoenix, Arizona.

Born on May 24, 1963, Peter Navy Tuiasosopo hailed from San Pedro, California. He pursued his schooling at Taper Avenue Elementary and San Pedro High School. Tuiasosopo took an interest in football by playing as an offensive/defensive lineman and as a shot putter on the track team. Further, he received a football scholarship from Utah State University.

In the 1987 NFL Draft, Tuiasosopo joined the St. Louis Cardinals as an undrafted free agent. After being waived off from the Cardinals, he was signed by the Los Angeles Rams on the roster of replacement players during the player’s strike. After an on-and-off time with the team, Tuiasospo was ultimately released from the Rams in 1989.

Following his stints with football, Tuiasosopo tried his luck in acting. He is known for his roles in Street Fighter, The Jamie Foxx Show, Batman & Robin, and many others.
