Although the celebrity was not named it was hinted to be Swift.
The ex-Grizzly Bear member, however, soon expressed fear for his words reaching the person. He begged fans to not tag the person on Twitter and let them know of the tweets criticizing them. However, the fan backlash only began after he had put up another also now-deleted tweet about a gossip magazine. This magazine claimed that Swift had enforced strict rules on her friends for her Hyde Park concert. “Obsessed that people are catching on,” he had captioned the tweet.
A fan took note of this and criticized Droste, telling him not to hate her and that nobody was perfect. In response, Droste confirmed that Swift was the person he talked about in his earlier tweet.
