In the said scene, a drone camera is shown observing Mark, Debbie, and Oliver having a peaceful family moment. Mark soon notices the observing drone and immediately heads outside and catches the drone. The scene then cuts to a gray buffering. All of this is shown from the drone’s perspective.
The very next scene then shows a wide-screen monitor being observed by someone. It features a footage grid of events currently taking place in Mark Grayson’s life. Soon after, an ominous voice can be heard saying, “Such a happy family.”
Although the person’s face is not shown, the subtitles reveal that the voice is none other than Angstrom Levy’s. Thus, it is confirmed that he has somehow survived his brutal encounter with Mark at the end of Season 2.
Moreover, the ending scene of Episode 3 shows the same scene, but from Mark Grayson’s perspective. While he is hugging Debbie and Oliver, he hears a flickering sound and rushes out the window to grab the drone. But before Mark can do anything, the drone explodes.
