What happened to Charlotte Flair and husband Andrade?
According to PEOPLE, Charlotte Flair, aka Ashley Fliehr, is splitting with her husband, Andrade, after two years of being married. TMZ first broke the news of their divorce, which was finalized on October 10, 2024, after Flair filed for it in June.
The WWE couple held their wedding at Andrade’s hometown, Torreón, Mexico, in May 2022. The couple’s relationship grew into something deeper while they were signed to WWE.
The daughter of Ric Flair shared what drew her to the Mexican wrestler in an interview after marriage. She told PEOPLE, “Before I met him, I did not know anything except my job. When I met him, he opened my eyes to travel and life and love and a different culture.” She further added, “And I was so strict with my job and did not know how to enjoy both life and work at the same time. And he opened me up to that.”
Flair and Andrade started dating in 2019. Within a year, Andrade popped the question and shared a snap of the duo on a yacht on Instagram in 2020. The couple stopped posting pictures together after May 2024. In Flair’s last Instagram post featuring Andrade, the duo seemed smitten in love vacationing in Paris.
Before Andrade, Charlotte Flair had two marriages. She tied the knot with Riki Johnson in 2010 and got divorced in 2013. In her autobiography Second Nature, Charlotte revealed details from her first marriage that reportedly struck a chord with many domestic abuse survivors.
She wrote that she has been a victim of domestic assault. Later, Johnson filed a lawsuit against Flair, disapproving the claims of the WWE legend. After a controversial end to her first marriage, the 14-time WWE Champion married NWA star Thom Latimer. They split in 2015.
