Invincible Season 3 Reviews Deliver the Best Rotten Tomatoes Score Possible

Season 3 of Invincible is ready to debut and the season’s Rotten Tomatoes score from early reviews has set very expectations for fans.

Invincible is an animated superhero series based on Skybound/Image Comics and created by Robert Kirkman. The star cast of this popular show includes Steven Yuen, Sandra Oh, JK Simmons, Grey Griffin, Zazie Beetz, and more. The series’ third season is set to release on February 6, 2025.

Critics rave about Invincible Season 3 in reviews

Before its premiere on Thursday, the early reviews for Invincible Season 3 have arrived and critics are lauding the series for keeping its “signature elements” alive. The story of Invincible revolves around Mark Grayson, who is the son of the world’s strongest superhero, Omni-Man. As Mark’s powers begin to emerge, he is met with different challenges.

Nicola Austin of Radio Times asserted that Robert Kirkman stayed true to the “signature elements fans have come to know and love, with plenty of exciting revelations, bloody showdowns, complex family dynamics, new suits and fun team-ups.”

Logan Moore of ComicBook.com wrote that Season 3 lacked the “bombastic set pieces” from Seasons 1 and 2. However, the season also “trades those moments out for deeper character development.”

Cooper Hood of Screen Rant praised Invincible Season 3 for “enhancing Mark’s story and the viewer experience.” Hood further asserted that Invincible “increases the moral and emotional complexity” in Season 3 after two successful seasons.

Invincible Season 3 starts with a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score

Invincible Season 3 earned a perfect score on Rotten Tomatoes based on reviews from critics. Ahead of its debut, the animated superhero series has managed to earn 100 percent on the Tomatometer based on 11 reviews. The first three episodes of Invincible Season 3 will air on February 6. The season will be a direct follow-up to the events of Season 2, which dropped its final episode less than a year ago on April 4, 2024.
