At WWE Royal Rumble 2025, Sky delivered a standout performance. Entering at No. 1 in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, she lasted 1 hour, 6 minutes, and 45 seconds before Nia Jax eliminated her.
Despite the setback, Sky received another opportunity. Ahead of WWE RAW, General Manager Adam Pearce announced an Elimination Chamber qualifying match between Iyo Sky and Liv Morgan.
Before the match, Sky confronted Rhea Ripley backstage. However, following their conversation, Sky was blindsided by Liv Morgan. Ripley attempted to intervene, but Raquel Rodriguez attacked her from behind, leaving both Ripley and Sky on the floor.
