Recent reports indicate that actor and singer Casey Deidrick was arrested in Davidson County, Tennessee. Many people are wondering whether this is true, and if it is, they are curious about the reasons behind his arrest. Deidrick is primarily known for his role as Chad DiMera on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives from 2009 to 2013. His alleged arrest has generated significant curiosity among fans.
Why was Casey Deidrick reportedly arrested in Nashville?
Casey Deidrick was arrested on Sunday, February 2, by the authorities in Davidson County on charges of domestic assault against his girlfriend and interference with an emergency call, according to TMZ.
The outlet further reports that the Days of Our Lives alum was taken into custody by the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office. He was later released on a $2,500 bond on February 3.
According to the warrant obtained by TMZ, authorities arrived at the scene on February 2. Deidrick claimed he became angry with his girlfriend for recording him. He allegedly took her phone, which escalated into an argument between the two. In her statement to the police, his girlfriend denied Deidrick’s claims about recording him but confirmed that an argument did occur. She further stated that while she was hiding behind the kitchen counter, Deidrick wrapped his hands around her and took her phone away.
Deidrick also reportedly told the authorities that the girlfriend wrapped her hands on his neck, but this was also apparently refuted by the women, and the authorities reportedly stated that they didn’t find any evidence of that. The girlfriend told Deidrick to give her the phone back so she could call emergency service, and he only did that after she assured him that she would leave the house with her belongings on that very day.
Various outlets reportedly reached out to Deidrick’s representatives but they seemingly have not responded.
