The story for Stranger Things Season 5 appears to have been teased in a missing poster for Millie Bobby Brown’s Jane Hopper which was recently shared online.
The final season of the hit show is expected to debut on Netflix later this year. Although the show will pick up after the events of Season 4, the series’ creators have managed to keep the plot a mystery.
Hawkins PD is looking for Jane Hopper in new Stranger Things Season 5 tease
Many fans were left puzzled recently after a missing poster for Jane Hopper appeared online. The poster was shared on the official account for Stranger Things on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption, “Who’s really looking for Jane Hopper? You’re not ready for what’s to come in Stranger Things 5.”
The poster titled “Missing Teen” has a photo of Millie Bobby Brown’s character Eleven, aka Jane Hopper, on it with her details mentioned as well. Fans also stumbled upon the number “765-303-2020” on the poster which belongs to the Hawkins Police Department in the show. As per the details on the poster, Jane was last spotted at Hawkins High School on June 13, 1986, and has been missing since then. The story of Stranger Things Season 5 is reportedly set in 1987, so the new season might start with Eleven missing in the first episode.
However, this is currently just fan speculation and the mystery behind this poster will unravel when the show drops.
Additionally, fans were greeted with a short message from Hawkins PD when they dialed the number mentioned on the poster. In the recording, as posted by the account Stranger Things News on X, Hawkins PD mentions that a lockdown has been imposed on the town. This is a result of an earthquake, which led to many people going missing. But, the message states that “the Hawkins Emergency Task Force is working closely with Hawkins PD to track down missing persons, of which Jane Hopper is a priority.”
