In this article, we will delve into the details of Justin Tucker’s response to allegations.
Justin Tucker releases statement about his accusations
Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has spoken out against accusations of sexual misconduct following a report from The Baltimore Banner. The accusations, made by six massage therapists, claim that Tucker engaged in inappropriate behavior during sessions at various spas between 2012 and 2016.
In response, Tucker issued a firm denial, calling the claims “unequivocally false” in a statement posted on X (formerly Twitter). He criticized The Banner’s reporting, claiming the outlet failed to uphold proper journalistic standards. Tucker wrote, “I have always made a conscious effort to be considerate and respectful in all of the interactions with the community that I love so much. It is devastating for me to learn that anyone would feel I was offensive in any way.”
His legal representatives also dismissed the accusations, asserting that there was no evidence to support them. Tucker’s attorneys Thomas A. Clare and Steven J. Harrison stated, “Mr. Tucker has never behaved inappropriately during any massage therapy session, and certainly never in the manner described…Any suggestion to the contrary is a fictitious and utterly baseless claim.”
They also disputed reports that Tucker had been banned from any spa. Tucker’s legal team argued that any accidental exposure during a massage is “unremarkable” and not uncommon among professional athletes due to the nature of the treatment. They emphasized that the accusations remain unproven.
The NFL and the Baltimore Ravens acknowledged the allegations, with the league stating that it became aware of the claims through the media. An NFL spokesperson said, “We take any allegation seriously and will look into the matter.” The Ravens emphasized that they would closely “monitor the situation.” (via Bleacher Report)
