I Love You Forever Trailer Previews Cazzie David & Elisa Kalani’s Directorial Debut

The first I Love You Forever trailer is out, previewing the upcoming directorial debut of Cazzie David and Elisa Kalani, the former of who is the daughter of legendary comedian Larry David.

What happens in the I Love You Forever trailer?

The trailer highlights the search for love that 25-year-old law student Mackenzie goes on. After a meet-cute with a man named Finn leads to a relationship, she quickly learns that the honeymoon phase doesn’t last forever, and must navigate the problems that come with a relationship.

I Love You Forever is set to premiere on February 7, 2025, at the Quad Cinema in New York City. A week later, on Valentine’s Day, the film will release widely on digital platforms.

I Love You Forever was written and directed by both David and Kalani. The film is produced by Diablo Cody, Lauren Hantz, Liana Weston, Mason Novick, Evan Silverberg, and Billy Mulligan. John Hantz and Lindsay Hurd serve as executive producers for the film.

The upcoming movie stars Sofia Black-D’Elia, Ray Nicholson, Jon Rudnitsky, Cazzie David, and Raymond Cham Jr.

“The current dating landscape is bleak at best, and no one is more aware of this than Mackenzie, a disillusioned 25-year old law student whose love life consists of non-committal hookups and situationships from hell,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “When she has a “real life meet-cute” with Finn, a handsome and charming journalist, she starts to believe true love may actually exist. However, when the honeymoon phase wanes and the cracks begin to show, Mackenzie is forced to come to terms with whether or not she is to blame or if her love is actually too good to be true.”
