During a Destiny 2 livestream today detailing the game’s upcoming new episode titled “Heresy,” Bungie surprised fans by revealing a Star Wars Destiny 2 collaboration.
What do we know about the Destiny 2 and Star Wars collaboration?
The collaboration was revealed toward the end of the stream, and will see various Star Wars-inspired items added into Destiny 2. These will primarily all be cosmetic ornaments that players can buy in the game’s Eververse store beginning on February 4, 2025, including armors based on the royal guard of the Galactic Empire, as well as the iconic Clone Trooper outfit.
Bungie also mentioned things like accessories, finisher, and emotes as part of the collaboration, but didn’t go into detail revealing them. As of now, no official pricing on the items are available, but they will appear in the game’s Eververse store when Heresy launches, so fans will only have to wait a week in order to get their hands on a long-awaited collaboration.
Outside of the Star Wars collab, Bungie also revealed new information about Heresy, the latest season of episodes set to arrive in the game. The new expansion is themed all around the return to the Dreadnaught, a Hive ship from the original game, as well as battling against some familiar foes.

Similar to past episodes, Heresy will consist of various acts that take place over the course of weeks, and will include new exotic weapons, returning weapons from previous moments in the game, and a brand new dungeon and subclass aspects.
