The victory became even more special for the former Philadelphia Eagles veteran Beau Allen, who received a $11,900 shirt from Travis Kelce post the conclusion of the said match. Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift give Beau Allen a shirt
During his recent appearance on the Green Light with Chris Long podcast, Beau Allen revealed that Taylor Swift helped him secure the $11,900 Bottega Venetta shirt that Travis Kelce wore to the Arrowhead Stadium prior to his side’s match-up against Houston.
The retired nose tackle told Long that Kelce was the one who invited him to the Chiefs’ game. Following Kansas City’s historic victory, Beau Allen congratulated Travis Kelce and even praised his salmon-colored shirt. Upon hearing the compliment, the seasoned tight end simply gave up the Bottega Venetta apparel to his footballing counterpart. “He just f***ing gave it to me, so, it’s pretty slick,” Allen stated.
However, Allen instantly expressed his concerns regarding the shirt’s size, saying, “I was like, ‘I don’t think it’s gonna fit me,’ and Taylor’s like, ‘Yeah, it’ll definitely fit. Put it on.'” Kelce then decided to humor the LII Super Bowl champion and promised Allen the shirt if it fit him. While Beau Allen ended up walking away with Travis Kelce’s shirt, he playfully disclosed during the podcast that the exchange did disappoint him a bit. “I used to be a big f—ing boy and now I’m wearing the same clothes as him,” Allen added jokingly.
Beau Allen was accompanied by Taylor Swift, who was there in the stands to cheer her partner on. Swift’s family were also present in the crowd, donning the Chiefs’ gear to show their support.
Having secured victory against the Texans, Kansas City will now take on the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship, with the hopes of qualifying for this year’s Super Bowl.
