Bock’s acting journey started at the age of five through theater. She decided to pursue a full-time career in the field after watching Matilda the Musical.

In addition to Severance, she is known for her works in the film Bruiser and the short, The Connoisseur. Aside from acting, Bock takes a keen interest in music, dance, and tennis, among other things. Severance Season 2’s Miss Huang explained

Miss Huang works as Mr. Milchick’s deputy manager in Severance Season 2. Its first episode revealed that Milchick became the manager of the severed floor after Harmony Cobel was dismissed from the position. Huang is shown as a strong and opinionated young girl. She is very loyal to her boss and follows all his orders.

However, fans were intrigued to find out the need for a teenager to play such a mature character, sparking curiosity as to why Lumon would hire someone who looked like a child to fill an important position at work. The show creator Dan Erickson opened up about this decision with Decider, calling Sarah Bock an “incredible” actor.

He revealed they wanted a character “on the management side who would really throw any characters off their game.” Erickson also mentioned Miss Huang is “mentally older” than the other characters who won’t be sure about ways to deal with her.
