On Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test, he reflected on his younger years, when he grew up apart. However, he believes he received a different outlook on parenthood and now, thinks they stand on good terms. Here’s what he said about Caitlyn Jenner.

Brody Jenner is currently a part of the reality TV show Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. It chronicles celebrities from different walks of life standing tall to pass the selection procedure of special forces soldiers. They are put through challenging tasks in the harshest environments, testing their survival skills.
During an episode of this show, Brody Jenner shed some light on his complicated relationship with Caitlyn Jenner. Reflecting on their distant bond, with visits being sporadic. He said, “But, mom would tell me that I would write on cards, ‘Why doesn’t dad call me on my birthday?’”
Additionally, he mentioned how difficult it was for him growing up to come to terms with Caitlyn’s transition. However, he thinks the absence of a father figure eventually taught him to be a better father to his child. “I just had a beautiful little daughter. I’m not living for myself anymore. I’m living for her. I think it’s gonna make me a better father.”
Brody Jenner mentioned that he felt “a little bit abandoned” by Caitlyn Jenner’s absence from his formative years. While expressing understanding, he also mentioned that during his processing of Caitlyn Jenner’s transition, their shared moments were captured on camera and televised, which made it “invasive” and “not genuine.” Moreover, he revealed that he received a “sincere apology” from Caitlyn Jenner recently, making their relationship stand on better terms.
In addition, he also praised his mother, Kris, for being there by his side always.
