The New Year celebrations shown in the trailer are sponsored by the Pym van Dyne Foundation. In Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Hope van Dyne converts Pym Technologies into this foundation, which uses her father’s Pym Particles for humanitarian work.
Vanessa and Wilson Fisk’s bloody wall reunion
In the trailer, Wilson Fisk and Vanessa are having dinner and there is a blood-splattered white portrait. This blood-splattered wall was seen in the Season 3 finale of the Daredevil series, where Matt Murdock beat Fisk to a pulp. It proves the Netflix show is canon in the original MCU.
Daredevil’s cowls and suits
The cowls and suits also capture fans’ attention in the trailer. The yellow/gold cowl was seen in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and the DAREDEVIL (1964) #1 comic. The black cowl and its suit are from the Shadowland: Daredevil comic storyline. The grey cowl on the left could be a nod to the DAREDEVIL (2023) #6 run where Matt wore a white suit and emerged as the “purified Daredevil.” The Classic red cowl is from the old shows and most comics. The right-most red cowl is the one that he dons in Born Again.
