All Villains in the Daredevil: Born Again Trailer Listed

The official Daredevil: Born Again trailer debuted online on January 15, 2025. As part of the expanding Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), it will serve as a revival of Daredevil, which originally streamed on Netflix between 2015 and 2018. The trailer promises that the series will feature new villains as well as those we have already seen.

Here is a list of the antagonists that fans can expect when Daredevil: Born Again premieres on Disney+ on March 4, 2025.

List of all villains in the Daredevil: Born Again trailer

The action-packed trailer of Daredevil: Born Again is 2:06 minutes long and showcases various aspects of Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock / Daredevil as a character. Almost inevitably, Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk / Kingpin appears in the trailer, which also teases that Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter / Bullseye will be part of the story.

However, if the speculations are true, neither is the villain of the series, but Muse, a new character who makes an appearance in the trailer, will reportedly serve as the primary antagonist of Daredevil: Born Again.

Muse

Muse did not appear in the original series, and Marvel and Disney have not yet officially disclosed the actor playing the role in Daredevil: Born Again, though there are unsubstantiated online rumors that Wednesday actor Hunter Doohan might be the actor behind the mask.

In the comics, Muse is a serial killer who abducts and tortures people and commits mass murders, claiming that these acts are part of his art. His real birth name is unknown, but the media calls him Vincent Van Gore. Created by writer Charles Soule and artist Ron Garney, the character first appeared in comics in 2016 and has since become quite popular among fans.

Bullseye

The Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter iteration of Bullseye will return in Daredevil: Born Again after appearing in Season 3 of the original series. The FBI agent-turned-violent murderer became paralyzed following the climactic three-way fight with Daredevil and Kingpin, and later undergoes spinal surgery. The new trailer shows him walking. It will be interesting to see what the character’s journey will be in the show.

Kingpin

The trailer and official poster hint that Kingpin will have a significant role in the upcoming show, just like he did in all seasons of the original series. The trailer also teases that Fisk has become the new mayor of the city, which will likely impact his complex dynamic with Matt.

Additionally, Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle / Punisher and several minor goons appear in the trailer. However, while Castle has somewhat of an antagonistic relationship with Matt, he’s not entirely a villain.
