Renowned online personality IShowSpeed is once again in the headlines after he successfully attempted a backflip on Guatemala’s famed Hand of God statue. Darren Jason Watkins Jr., the streamer’s birth name, has gained immense popularity quickly by enacting such adventurous stunts among his other high-octane activities. The 19-year-old streamer is presently touring South America and recently landed in Guatemala after visiting Colombia. There, IShowSpeed announced his plans to execute a dangerous backflip on the hand-shaped statue that rests on the side of a mountain in Antigua.

Before attempting the stunt, Darren acknowledged the risks involved in the activity on his live stream. He stated, “Okay, this is very dangerous, I am about to do a backflip off The Hand of God. If I fall, it’s over with.”

As his fans watched in excitement, IShowSpeed landed on his feet after completing the perilous backflip. He then commemorated his victory with his signature shout. The snippet of him indulging in the physical feat has since gone viral on the internet, with users lauding the young YouTuber for his fearless antics.
