Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle could hit theaters in September 2025
The release date of Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie appears to have been made public through various websites. Recently, a listing titled “Untitled Crunchyroll/Sony/Aniplex Event Film” was made on the website named, The Numbers.
Although the name Demon Slayer wasn’t mentioned on the page, fans immediately determined that the event film referred to in the listing is Infinity Castle. As per the listing, the movie has a September 12, 2025 release date in the United States by Sony Pictures. It will open in the United Kingdom on the same date, and on September 17 in France. Sony’s French website also had a listing for the movie which was deleted later.
As per a tweet by Shonen Jump News, the German cinema company, CineStar’s website also had a listing, which has now been removed, with a September 25 release date for the Untitled Crunchyroll/Sony/Aniplex Event Film. The X (formerly Twitter) account also shared a screenshot of the now-deleted listing, which also showed the synopsis of the Infinity Castle movie.
Sony Pictures, Aniplex, and Crunchyroll are collaborating to release the Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle movie internationally. The movie is a part of a trilogy that will conclude the Demon Slayer anime. A short teaser announcing the release year of the movie was posted by Sony Pictures on YouTube in December 2024.
