Netflix has released the full Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 trailer for the upcoming return of the hit dark fantasy animated spin-off. The next installment is slated to start streaming this Thursday, January 16, 2025.

What happens in the Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 trailer?
The video highlights the incoming war against the Vampire Messiah’s army, as fan-favorite character Alucard returns to help the new generation fight this powerful threat. It also teases the growth of Richter Belmont, who’s now ready to step up and take down the enemy with his newfound skills and determination.
“Now joined by the legendary Alucard, Richter Belmont and his band of vampire hunters are in a desperate race against time,” reads the show’s Season 2 logline. “Erzsebet Báthory, the Vampire Messiah, who already seems invincible, seeks the full power of the goddess Sekhmet so she can plunge the world into endless darkness and terror.”
Castlevania: Nocturne is created and executive produced by showrunners Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde, based on Konami’s 1993 Castlevania: Rondo of Blood video game. The spin-off features the voices of Edward Bluemel as Richter, Pixie Davies as Maria Renard, Thuso Mbedu as Annette, Natassja Kinski as Tera, Sydney James Harcourt as Edouard, Zahn McClarnon as Olrox, and Franka Potente as Erzsebet Báthory, James Callis as Alucard Tepes, Richard Dormer as The Abbot, Iain Glen as Juste Belmont, Elarica Johnson as Drolta Tzuentes, and Aaron Neil as Mizrak. The project hails from Powerhouse Animation, with Sam Deats and Adam Deats directing.
