Mufasa: The Lion King has once again won the weekend at the United States box office.
Now in its third week of release, Mufasa: The Lion King made another $23.8 million at the domestic box office this weekend as it beat out all the other competition. Sonic the Hedgehog 3, which is also in its third week of release, came in second with $21.2 million, while Nosferatu pulled in an additional $13.2 million.
Per Deadline, the 30th anniversary of Se7en, meanwhile, didn’t crack the top 10 as it made $915,000 over the past three days.
Mufasa’s box office reign will likely come to an end this coming weekend as Den of Thieves: 2 Pantera is opening on Friday, while the Robbie Williams biopic Better Man is also expanding to more theaters.
