David E. Kelley has hired helmer Dwight Little (Murder at 1600) to direct his adaptation of “Life on Mars” for ABC, reports Variety.
Kelley wrote and is executive producing the ABC drama, which revolves around a cop who finds himself transported back to the 1970s. Twentieth Century Fox Television is producing in association with David E. Kelley Productions.
Little has worked with Kelley before, helming episodes of the scribe’s “The Practice” and “Citizen Baines.” Director’s other TV credits include “Day Break,” “Prison Break,” “24” and “Bones.”
