Brock Lesnar’s WWE Future: Is a Return Happening Soon?

An update has surfaced regarding the future of former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. Absent from WWE since August 2023, Lesnar last competed at SummerSlam, where he faced Cody Rhodes.

Following WrestleMania 39, The Beast stunned fans by attacking Cody Rhodes by turning on him. This sparked an intense rivalry between the two. It saw Lesnar and Rhodes clash three times, with Rhodes ultimately emerging victorious. Cody Rhodes secured two victories over Brock Lesnar, who managed one win, bringing their rivalry to an end at WWE SummerSlam.

Since then, Lesnar has been absent from WWE TV. WWE initially planned for his return at the men’s Royal Rumble in January 2024. However, those plans were scrapped due to Lesnar’s alleged involvement in the Vince McMahon lawsuit. Since then, WWE has remained silent about Lesnar’s status and is awaiting the resolution of legal matters.

In October, rumors of Lesnar’s return surfaced when Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes mentioned his name on TV, but his comeback never materialized. As 2025 approaches and WWE prepares for RAW’s debut on Netflix, a disappointing update confirms that Brock Lesnar will not be returning anytime soon.

Brock Lesnar isn’t coming back to WWE anytime soon

According to Dr. Chris Featherstone of Sportskeeda, WWE has not made any plans to bring Brock Lesnar back to television. Despite speculations, there have been no backstage discussions about his return, and many believe Lesnar will not be making a comeback in the near future.

While it is disappointing news for Brock Lesnar’s fans, many are left speculating if or when The Beast Incarnate will make his rerurn. Despite no official talks about his comeback, fans continue to clamor for his return and a potential dream match with the current World Heavyweight Champion, Gunther. Only time will tell when Lesnar will step back into the ring.
